According to the Wrestling Observer, Matt Sydal (former WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne) has recently been discussed internally within AEW as a potential candidate for a return to TV.

Sydal has been medically cleared for close to a year and even competed internationally last summer.

Matt Sydal last competed in All Elite Wrestling at AEW Dynasty 2024, where he lost to Trent Beretta on the Zero Hour pre-show.

Fans will soon get to see the next generation of the Styles family step into the ring.

Avery Styles, the son of WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles, is officially scheduled to make his professional wrestling debut on Friday, June 26. The match will take place at the Royston Dome in Royston, Georgia, under the Squared Circle Action promotion. Avery will face Ashton Martin.

The promotion confirmed that AJ Styles himself will be standing right outside the ring in his son’s corner during the match.
