• AEW Star Could Be Revealed As The Mystery Attacker From Survivor Series

In the main event of Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, a masked mystery attacker climbed into the cage and laid out World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk with a superkick and Curb Stomp, helping Team Vision secure the win.

Moments after the show went off the air, reports surfaced claiming that Austin Theory, who has been rumored to join The Vision for a while, was the man under the mask, marking what would have been his first appearance on WWE programming in months.

However, the Wrestling Observer reports that WWE may be setting up a major swerve. There is no guarantee that Theory will actually be revealed as the attacker.

The report noted that if WWE stretches the storyline into January, Chris Jericho could even be a possibility, as he is expected to return to the company once his AEW contract expires in the coming weeks. It was also clarified that Seth Rollins will not be revealed as the mystery attacker.

Triple H’s regime has pulled off similar swerves before, such as when Seth Rollins’ supposed serious injury turned out to be part of a storyline that culminated in him returning to win the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

WWE’s official website also fueled speculation by listing several top names as possible suspects, including Randy Orton, John Cena, LA Knight, Becky Lynch, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles.

• TNA Wants To Bring In A Big Name On First AMC Show Next Month

TNA Wrestling’s flagship show “iMPACT!” will officially move to the AMC Network in January 2026. The premiere episode, airing live on January 15, is expected to be a major event for the company.

According to the Wrestling Observer, TNA wants to have AJ Styles wrestle on their first AMC show.

Earlier this year, WWE and TNA formed a partnership that opened the door for several crossover appearances between NXT and TNA talent. Wrestlers from both sides have shown up on the other’s programming and even captured championships across promotions.

However, the partnership has rarely involved main roster WWE stars, which has been a point of interest for fans who want to see names like AJ Styles step into a TNA ring again.

Styles, who was the face of TNA for more than a decade, explained recently why WWE won’t approve a TNA return. He said that while he personally hoped the crossover could happen, WWE is very unlikely to approve it. In his view, once a top main roster name like him is permitted to appear in TNA, it opens the door for every other main roster talent to want the same opportunity, and WWE doesn’t want to set that precedent.

The Phenomenal One added that he’d love to make a return and that doing so would be a special moment, but realistically, he doesn’t see WWE allowing a match in TNA anytime soon.
