• Shawn Michaels’ Reaction To Title Change Botch, Blake Monroe Unhappy

The unexpected NXT Women’s North American Title change involving Thea Hail and Blake Monroe sparked internal discussion about how the situation was handled in the ring.

Shortly after the match, Fightful Select reported that referee Felix Fernandez had received positive feedback from WWE officials for his response during the unplanned finish. However, additional voices from within NXT later reached out with a very different perspective, claiming there was frustration directed toward Fernandez for allegedly not checking on Monroe quickly enough after she was hurt.

As details continued to emerge, sources indicated that Monroe herself told others backstage that she was injured during the match and was unhappy with how events unfolded afterward. Those directly involved with her creative direction were also reportedly displeased.

At the same time, there has been strong support for Fernandez from NXT leadership. Multiple officials, including Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom, along with other referees, reportedly backed Fernandez and maintained that he followed proper protocol. According to those accounts, there was no indication that he ignored Monroe’s condition or failed to assess the situation appropriately.

• Update On How Many Tickets WWE Has Sold For WrestleMania 42 So Far

Early ticket data is beginning to take shape for WrestleMania 42, and the numbers suggest strong demand for WWE’s biggest weekend of the year in Las Vegas.

According to figures released by WrestleTix, WrestleMania 42 – Night 1 is currently scheduled for April 18, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium. With 114 days remaining until the show, WWE has sold 35,973 tickets under the current seating configuration of 43,416. There are 6,375 standard tickets still available, along with 1,068 combo tickets. The full seating map lists 68,179 total seats, and resale activity remains minimal at just 14 tickets. The cheapest standard admission ticket for Saturday is currently priced at $251.

WrestleMania 42 – Night 2, set for April 19, 2026, is showing a nearly identical trajectory. With 115 days to go, ticket sales sits at 36,045, again based on a 43,416-seat setup. Availability includes 6,303 standard tickets and 1,068 combo tickets, while resale listings are even lower than Saturday’s at just 5 tickets. Fans looking to attend night two can expect to pay at least $292.45 for the lowest-priced standard admission ticket.

In total, WWE has sold 72,018 tickets so far for WrestleMania 42. Both nights are currently labeled as first counts, meaning seating configurations could still expand as production plans are finalized.

For comparison, WrestleMania 41 – Night 1 had sold 60,151 tickets, while WrestleMania 41 – Night 2 was at 61,389. These were the final numbers for this year’s WrestleMania, which also took place at Allegiant Stadium.

With WrestleMania 42 still months away, the early figures point to steady momentum rather than a rush, leaving WWE room to open additional sections if demand continues to build.
