WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Irresistible Forces (c) vs. The Bella Twins

– Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu (this match was rumored to take place at WrestleMania 42)

Below are the complete results from tonight’s SmackDown, including backstage news on Randy Orton’s heel turn.

– Tonight’s SmackDown kicked off with Drew McIntyre blaming Jacob Fatu for him losing the Undisputed WWE Championship last week, and demanded that Nick Aldis fix this mistake. Aldis said Drew has no one to blame but himself and he won’t do anything for Drew. Jacob came out and said he fixed the mistake he made in the first place and without him, Drew would’ve never won the WWE Title in the first place. McIntyre said he is done and quit WWE.

Backstage, Fatu asked Aldis to do something because he was going to whoop McIntyre. Trick Williams showed up and told Fatu to get his own material because he’s the only one that does the whooping around here. This leads to Aldis booking Fatu vs. Williams for tonight.

– Solo Sikoa told the MFTs that the Wyatts are nothing without the lantern. Solo told Shinsuke Nakamura to stay away from Tama Tonga.

– Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy and Erick Rowan) def. My Family Tree (WWE Tag Team Champion Solo Sikoa and Tala Tonga)

Howdy picked up the lantern, but Tama Tonga attacked him and took the lantern away.

– R-Truth got confused and thought The MFTs are The Judgment Day. He told Damian Priest that they can’t let their history with The Judgment Day cloud their judgment when they face them for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Los Garza (Angel and Berto) showed up and said they did all the heavy lifting in last week’s Gauntlet Match and that Priest and Truth just took advantage of their work. Priest set up a tag team match between them for tonight.

– Giulia made fun of Tiffany Stratton thinking she really deserves the Women’s United States Championship. Kiana James said she’s going to show tonight that Tiffy Time has expired.

– WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill def. Michin

After the match, Cargill said she’s going to beat Rhea Ripley’s a$$ at WrestleMania and Rhea showed up. Rhea told her to take a shot, but Jade quietly left the ring. Rhea said Jade is going to be her b*tch after WrestleMania 42.

– Sami Zayn told Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes that he’s rooting for him at WrestleMania 42. Aleister Black and Zelina mocked Zayn again.

– Rhea Ripley told Michin she had a great match, but Michin wasn’t happy.

– WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins returned on tonight’s SmackDown and said they are next in line for the Women’s Tag Team Titles on the road to WrestleMania 42.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) (c) def. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss via DQ after The Bella Twins attacked the champions

This happened after Nia pushed Nikki Bella in the way of Charlotte’s big boot and laid out Brie Bella as well. A brawl broke out after the match, which ended with the champions standing tall.

– Jell Roll met R-Truth and Damian Priest backstage. He also reunited with Randy Orton and wished him best of luck in getting World Title #15 at WrestleMania 42.

– Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair had a heated exchange with The Bella Twins backstage.

– Damian Priest and R-Truth def. Los Garza (Angel and Berto)

– Johnny Gargano is still depressed and Alex Shelley tried to help. In the back, B-Fab was seen talking to Jade Cargill and they both left together.

– Danhausen told The Miz to wear his new T-Shirt on MizTV with Jelly Jam. Danhausen wants to replace Miz TV with Good Nighthausen and Miz got angry. Danhausen then cursed Miz.

– On MizTV, The Miz said he wants to be Jelly Roll’s mentor, but Jelly said no. Miz took credit for Jelly’s 250 lbs weight loss and Miz said he liked Jelly better when he was fat. Jelly said he’d kick Miz’s a$$. Kit Wilson came out and called Jelly Roll fat-phobic and toxic. Miz held Kit back. Jelly went to punch Kit, but Kit got out of the way and Jelly laid out Miz.

– United States Champion Carmelo Hayes told Ilja Dragunov to lock in.

– Tiffany Stratton pushed Chelsea Green’s wheelchair away and said she’s coming for the Women’s United States Championship.

– Danhausen asked The Miz if Jelly Jam knocked any of his teeth out because he has some teeth Miz could use. Danhausen said if he was out there, he could’ve defended The Miz’s honor. Miz told him to get out.
Danhausen said there’s only one thing Miz needs to do to reverse the curse and then disappeared.

– Tiffany Stratton def. Kiana James

Giulia tried to interfere, but Kiana accidentally hit her and Giulia fell on top of Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre.

– Trick Williams said he’s going to beat the boogeyman out of Jacob Fatu’s a$$. Sami Zayn mocked Trick for not being able to get the job done, the same thing Trick mocked Sami for. Trick said he has a match tonight, otherwise he would’ve whooped Sami. Sami said he’s here every week and he’s not hard to find.

– Trick Williams def. Jacob Fatu after Drew McIntyre interfered and attacked Fatu

Nick Aldis booked McIntyre vs. Fatu for next week’s SmackDown.

– Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton met in the ring for their WrestleMania 42 contract signing. Cody talked about having his WWE debut match against Orton in 2007. Cody said he has always been proud to be Randy’s boy. Cody signed the contract, but Randy hesitated. Randy said he needs the WrestleMania main event and the WWE Title. Cody said he’ll always love Randy. Randy signed the contract and then turned heel by launching a brutal attack on Cody. Cody got busted open. Randy even attacked Nick Aldis and Jelly Roll. Randy sat in a chair with the WWE Championship in his lap to end SmackDown.

TC of WrestleVotes reported the following about Orton’s heel turn:

“Just texted with a WWE staffer backstage at SmackDown who said there was intention behind Randy Orton wearing the black ‘RKO Everybody’ shirt rather than the royal blue shirt we have seen him wearing as of late. Little details like that go such a long way in storytelling.”
