• Upcoming WWE PLE Is In Jeopardy
WWE’s upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions is looking very uncertain. While the show is internally penciled in for June 27, sources in Stamford told WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select that it’s “doubtful at best” the event will actually happen there.
The main concern is the current military conflict and instability across the region, which has already caused Formula 1 and other major sports to cancel their own events in the country.
Nothing is 100% official yet, but the buzz backstage is that WWE might have to move the show to a new location or postpone it entirely to keep the staff and wrestlers safe.
It’s a developing situation, so the plans for June could change any day now depending on how things unfold in the Middle East.
