• Top Star Might Return In Time For WrestleMania 42

There is a bit of hope for Bron Breakker fans as WrestleMania 42 approaches. While he’s been on the shelf since January with a serious hernia, a new report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select states there is “optimism” backstage that he could be cleared to return just in time for the biggest show of the year.

Apparently, WWE already has a specific plan lined up for him — rumored to be a match against Seth Rollins — if the doctors give him the green light.

Because hernia recoveries can be tricky, WWE has been keeping his status under wraps, but the fact that they still have a creative plan in place suggests they are expecting him to make it back for the weekend of April 18.

• Tom Brady Takes Another Shot At WWE Amid WrestleMania 42 Rumors

Tom Brady took another shot at WWE during an interview with Sports Illustrated. When asked how many WWE wrestlers it would take to sack him, Brady replied:

“All their stuff is so cute and scripted, and they know what’s going on. In a football game, you don’t know. They wouldn’t even get near me. Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’d punch those guys right in the throat and they’d probably be crying. There’s no fake BS in American football. For those guys, it would be a whole different story.”

Tom Brady and Logan Paul recently traded comments in interviews and on social media, a back-and-forth that sources say was planned in advance.

The exchanges have fueled speculation about Brady potentially getting involved with WWE in some capacity. Earlier this month, WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that several WWE departments have already explored ideas tied to Brady, including possible branding, logos, and specialty merchandise. Names such as “T-Bone” and “The Untouchable Tom Brady” have reportedly been discussed internally.

Discussions between WWE and Brady’s representatives are said to have started last year after the company decided to bring WrestleMania back to Las Vegas. Brady has ties to the city as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. He also has a connection to WWE through Fanatics, the company that produces WWE’s merchandise.

While a match is not expected, sources indicated that an appearance by Brady at a WWE event is still a possibility, most likely at WrestleMania 42.
