• Debut Teased For Next Week’s SmackDown
Blake Monroe’s NXT career came to an end during the second week of the Revenge special, where she lost a Casket match against Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley.
Her promotion to the main roster and call-up to SmackDown was officially announced after WrestleMania 42.
PWInsider previously reported that Monroe is expected to debut on SmackDown this week. However, Monroe is teasing that she might debut on next week’s SmackDown in Barcelona on May 29. Here’s what she said in an interview with Vicente Beltrán:
“SmackDown is coming to Spain. Do you know who else is coming to Spain? Blake Monroe. I haven’t made my SmackDown debut yet, maybe Barcelona is the place to do that.
I am from Europe, Barcelona is a beautiful place. Hopefully the people are beautiful too. Maybe you finally get to see the historic moment that The Glamour debuts on SmackDown. Maybe.
That’s a good enough reason to buy a ticket. And Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes and people like that will be there, but, maybe The Glamour will be there.”
• “Did they find a woman to woo him back with urination videos?” – Missy Hyatt On Brock Lesnar’s Return
On last night’s RAW, Oba Femi came out for his open challenge, but got attacked by the returning Brock Lesnar. Lesnar tore his pants and delivered multiple F5s to The Ruler.
Lesnar will face Femi at Clash In Italy on May 31, as Paul Heyman handed Adam Pearce the contract for this match with Brock’s signature. Heyman called it the biggest rematch of all time. Pearce wasn’t happy as he already filed paperwork for Lesnar’s retirement.
WCW/ECW valet Missy Hyatt posted the following about The Beast’s return:
“I just heard brock lesnar is back.
Did they find a woman to woo him back with urination videos?
Did a big wig procure him a woman as a negotiation perk?
Or did he just want to get out of the house, since those previous allegations are never fun to discuss with your wife if you are home 24/7?”
Missy Hyatt is referring to the allegations made against Brock Lesnar by Janel Grant in the Vince McMahon lawsuit.
