• 2 Wrestlers Have Left AEW
The Butcher and The Blade are officially free agents after a 7-year run with AEW. The long-time tag team, who joined All Elite Wrestling way back in 2019, left the company recently when their contracts expired.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, AEW executives simply chose not to offer the duo a contract extension.
Since they are no longer under contract, they are completely free to sign with another company or start taking bookings on the independent scene right away.

• Vince McMahon Scandal Changed WWE Plans For Triple H & Stephanie McMahon’s Daughter
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H’s oldest daughter, Aurora, has put her wrestling dreams on hold to pursue a medical career after family drama disrupted her training.
Speaking with Becky Lynch on her “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Stephanie revealed that Aurora was originally planning to enter the family business and had even gotten into the ring to practice with top stars like Charlotte Flair and Natalya. However, her plans completely derailed when the major sexual misconduct scandal surrounding her grandfather, Vince McMahon, came to light, leading to Stephanie leaving WWE.
Stephanie explained that the timing was incredibly awkward because the controversy erupted right when Aurora was trying to make a final choice about her career. While Stephanie noted that the door isn’t completely closed on wrestling, Aurora has shifted her focus entirely away from the ring and is currently working toward getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Here’s what Stephanie said:
“Aurora used to want to, and she even got in the ring with Nattie and Charlotte. She rolled around a little bit. But then, everything kind of happened with my dad and me leaving and it was an awkward time. Like right in the time that she would’ve really been making her decision, and not that she couldn’t. She still could, but her mind right now is on getting her Doctorate in PT.”
• Brock Lesnar Moment Didn’t Go According To Plan Earlier This Year
During the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match, Brock Lesnar was eliminated by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight. However, the timing was the elimination was awkward, as it happened during Jey Uso’s YEET dance entrance and Lesnar’s huge elimination couldn’t be highlighted properly.
During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, LA Knight was asked if Lesnar’s elimination was supposed to happen differently.
The Mega Star replied:
“I did. I’ll tell that story someday, but it feels too new and fresh to me. But I’ll just say things went differently than they were supposed to.”
