Top 10 Failed WWE Things of 2017 – Part 5

#6 205 Live

WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic (CWC) tournament last year was a hit among the internet and indy wrestling fans.

With the success of the tournament among that audience group, WWE decided to re-introduce the Cruiserweight Division (and Cruiserweight Title) and make it exclusive to the Raw brand.

After some time, WWE introduced an entirely separate show for the Crusierweights, named “205 Live”, which airs on the WWE Network after SmackDown Live goes off the air.

With non-indy wrestling fans not caring much about the Cruiserweights, people started leaving immediately after SmackDown Live went off the air and didn’t remain in attendance for 205 Live.

This resulted in poor attendance for 205 Live shows and WWE had to rearrange the audience so that the arena looks full while watching on the WWE Network.
