As we saw at FastLane 2017, Bayley ended Charlotte Flair’s undefeated WWE PPV streak to retain the Raw Women’s Championship. However, that wasn’t the originally planned finish.
The original finish had Sasha Banks accidentally costing Bayley the match thus resulting in Charlotte continuing her WWE PPV Streak and regaining the Raw Women’s Championship.
This would’ve led to tension between Bayley & Sasha on the Road to WrestleMania 33 (which can still happen now), but WWE officials changed the plans prior to the PPV.
The currently advertised Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 33 is Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks. This is expected to turn into a Fatal 4 way with Nia Jax getting added.
