– Former WWE Wrestler Released From GFW
As we noted before, former WWE & GFW wrestler Tyrus (f.k.a Brodus Clay in WWE) posted a video on his Instagram account where he claimed he wasn’t being treated right in GFW. He noted how the company handcuffed him and his fans and treated him like a second-class citizen creatively.
Tyrus ended the video by saying that he won’t be working the upcoming set of GFW Impact Wrestling TV tapings unless the officials agree to treat him in the way he deserves to be. You can watch the video below:
In an update to this, Tyrus noted on Twitter that he’s no longer with GFW:
Thank you to @EdNordholm and @IMPACTWRESTLING for granting me my release. Wishing the roster and crew all success. #TyrusSmash #Nuffsaid

– Former WWE Star Returning
As we all know, former Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin was scheduled to return to WWE last year on the SmackDown Live brand, but a shoulder injury prevented him from returning.
PWInsider is reporting that Benjamin is finally scheduled to return to WWE once again and it’s possible he might return during the next Superstar Shake-Up (which is expected to take place after SummerSlam 2017). We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
