• Vince McMahon Making Big Moves To Increase WWE’s Popularity During The Coronavirus Pandemic
WWE has been airing multiple WrestleManias and other events on various channels since there’s no other sports on.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon is trying to get more eyeballs on the WWE product and make it popular:
“Vince is going with the idea that the more places that have this and the more eyeballs that watch this week which is why they’re flooding things.
They had the Royal Rumble on FS1 and they’re having WrestleManias on ESPN. They’re airing things up in Canada — with no other sports WrestleMania was the highest rated program on ESPN for the entire week.
So, they wanna flood the market that way there are more eyeballs and with eyeballs the idea is that they have popularity.”
