• John Cena Reveals Why WWE Wrestlers Called Him A Traitor In 2005

During a recent edition of WWE’s After The Bell podcast, 16 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena talked about how the SmackDown wrestlers called him a traitor when he didn’t tell them that he was getting drafted to RAW in 2005.

Below is what Cena said:

“They were all playing mini golf and I’m like, ‘I can’t make it today, I’m gonna work out.’ I’m in St. Louis getting drafted to RAW.

When I came out, every one of them…I was watching my phone, [it] blew up. ‘Traitor!’… ‘Benedict Arnold!’ … you name it, everybody was so pi$$ed because we genuinely had put our heart and soul into making the brand better than RAW.”
