8. AJ Styles (c) vs. Matt Riddle – Intercontinental Championship Match
After losing to Matt Riddle in Riddle’s SmackDown debut last month, Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles defended his Title in a rematch against Riddle on this past Friday’s SmackDown.
Styles defeated Riddle, and then teamed up with King Corbin to beat down The Original Bro.
The current plan for SummerSlam is set to have Styles vs. Riddle 3 for the Intercontinental Championship.
