All Elite Wrestling is set to break new ground at their AEW Full Gear 2025 PPV: the company’s first-ever $1 million match.
The announcement came during AEW Collision last night, where Don Callis unveiled an offer to The Young Bucks that could change their fortunes in one night. The bout will see Matt and Nick Jackson team up with Josh Alexander to face Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus), with a $1 million prize awaiting the winning team.
The story behind this match runs deeper than money. The Young Bucks, once sitting comfortably as AEW’s Executive Vice Presidents, have been on a downward spiral since losing their EVP positions after All In.
With their power and reputation diminished, the brothers have been desperately chasing both redemption and revenue.
Their obsession with big-money matches has become a recurring theme in recent months. In September, the duo won a $500,000 payout, only to lose it all at a casino shortly after.
They later attempted to rebuild their fortune at WrestleDream, facing Jurassic Express for another $500,000 prize, but once again came up short. Now, the stakes have doubled.
AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view takes place on November 22 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. As of now, AEW has confirmed five matches for the event, including multiple championship bouts:
– AEW World Championship: “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe
– AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. TBS Champion Mercedes Moné
– AEW World Tag Team Championship: Brodido (Brody King and ROH World Champion Bandido) (c) vs. FTR
– $1 Million Match: Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express vs. The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander
– Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall vs. RPG Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta)
