• AEW President Tony Khan highlighted the success of AEW All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium during a recent appearance on The Battleground Podcast.

All Elite Wrestling announced that 81,035 tickets were sold for All In 2023, although the turnstile attendance was 72,265 (the same metric used by journalists to claim that WWE had 80,709 fans in attendance at WrestleMania 32, not 101,763).

Khan dismissed critics who claimed the tickets sales for All In 2023 were closer to 73,000, arguing that even that figure would surpass the attendance for major events like the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight.

Here’s what Khan said:

“We sold 81,035 tickets to AEW at Wembley Stadium last year and we set the world record for wrestling ticket sales of 81,035 sold and people are so determined to try and take AEW down.

People thought that and said, ‘Hey I think you only sold 73,000+ tickets.’ First of all, it was 81,000 but even if it had been 73,000, that’s a great #2.

That’s more tickets than Mike Tyson and Jake Paul sold on one of the biggest events of all time. That would be a massive success too, so how is that supposed to be some kind of an own? I don’t get it.”
