– Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara promised to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship tonight at Battle of the Belts IX.
– The Mogul Embassy (c) def. Lance Archer & The Righteous to retain the ROH 6-Man Tag Team Championship
After the match, Prince Nana laid out a challenge to Bullet Club Gold to face them on next week’s Dynamite.
– Roderick Strong wished Preston Vance best of luck ahead of Battle of the Belts IX. Vance said win or loss, he’ll still take on Strong on Dynamite.
– Dustin Rhodes def. Willie Mack
– Bullet Club Gold accepted Prince Nana’s challenge.
– TNT Champion Christian Cage interrupted Dustin Rhodes’ interview with Renee Paquette. Christian said any friend of Adam Copeland is his enemy. Dustin said it’s his dream to win the TNT Title, but he has failed to win the title ever since AEW started.
Christian said it sounds like a beautiful dream, and it would a bigger dream if his father Dusty Rhodes was alive to see it. Christian said Dusty Rhodes was a legend, but he has never heard anyone use the word ‘legend’ for Dustin.
Dustin said if Christian has the balls, he’ll put the TNT Title on the line against him on next week’s Dynamite.
