The main show kicked off with the highly anticipated MJF vs. Wardlow match. MJF did show up, as opposed to the rumors.

Wardlow picked up the win over MJF after hitting 10 Powerbombs (Powerbomb Symphony).

Wardlow is officially an AEW Superstar now and his contract as MJF’s bodyguard is over.

MJF left the arena on a stretcher after getting destroyed.

Up next is a Tag Team Match between former WWF Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz and former AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.

This is the first time these two teams are squaring off inside an AEW ring.

After back & forth action, which involved Jeff Hardy hitting a Swanton Bomb on top of one of the Bucks placed on the steel ring steps, Jeff & Matt Hardy picked up the win.
