AEW Dynamite (5-Year Anniversary) Results – Return & Debut

Below are the results from tonight’s 5-year anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite.

– Will Ospreay (c) vs. Ricochet for the AEW International Championship ended in a DQ after Konosuke Takeshita interfered and took out Ospreay

– MVP met with TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone & Kamille and handed Mercedes his business card.

– Chris Jericho challenged Mark Briscoe to a match at WrestleDream for the ROH World Championship and declared that he will become The Nueva. Briscoe came out and accepted the challenge, and declared he will beat Jericho to retain his title. Jericho said Mark knows he cannot beat him, but maybe his brother Jay Briscoe could’ve. Mark told Jericho to leave his brother’s name out of his mouth and promised him a Briscoe Brothers style a$$ whupping at WrestleDream.

– Darby Allin said he will be at WrestleDream and will hold an Open Challenge.

– “Hangman” Adam Page def. Juice Robinson

After the match, Page continued to beat down Juice, which led to Jay White making his return to save Robinson.

– Jack Perry (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata for the TNT Championship was made official for WrestleDream.

– Britt Baker def. Serena Deeb

– Hook vowed to find the person who attacked his father Taz in the parking lot earlier.

– MVP introduced Prince Nana to his Business Partner – Shelton Benjamin. This was Shelton’s AEW debut.

– Bryan Danielson (c) def. AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada to retain the AEW World Championship

After the match, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Pac and Marina Shafir went after Bryan, but Wheeler Yuta made the save. Bryan & Yuta will face Claudio and Pac next week.
