AEW Dynamite Results – 2 Top Stars Suspended

All Elite Wrestling made history with tonight’s episode. AEW Dynamite now has more episodes than WCW Nitro. Below are the complete results from tonight’s show.

– TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone def. ROH Women’s Champion Athena to advance to the Finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament

– The Death Riders took out Hook ahead of tonight’s title match.

– Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander made his AEW debut as the Wild Card in the Owen Hart Cup tournament.

– “Hangman” Adam Page def. Josh Alexander to advance to the next round of the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament

After the match, Kyle Fletcher came out with Don Callis and Fletcher brawled with Page.

Callis then said something to Alexander. Alexander then attacked Hangman, thus turning heel. After Alexander left, Fletcher laid out Hangman with a Brainbuster.

– Tony Schiavone announced that Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler of FTR have been suspended for their actions on last week’s Collision.

– Christian Cage told Nick Wayne that he got him a match against Komander on Thursday Night Collision for the ROH TV Championship. Christian told Nick that The Patriarchy will not be with him, and demanded that he win and bring the Title to him.

– Hurt Syndicate (c) def. Gates of Agony to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship

After the match, MJF attempted to join them once again, and offered a night out with ladies. Hurt Syndicate still turned him down.

– Will Ospreay def. Konosuke Takeshita to advance to the Finals of the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament

– Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, & Powerhouse Hobbs def. Death Riders (AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta) (c) to win the AEW Trios Championship

Joe choked out Moxley to pick up the win. Young Bucks came out during the match, but Swerve Strickland took them out. Marina Shafir attacked Powerhouse Hobbs with a steel chair, which led to Willow Nightingale taking her out. AEW babyfaces came out to celebrate, as they popped the champagne.
