– AEW World Champion Samoa Joe and Swerve Strickland had a Contract Signing to make their title match official for AEW Dynasty.
Joe said Swerve is making a career defining mistake because he’s going to beat Swerve down so severely it’s going to leave Swerve mentally scarred like he left Diddy’s party too late.
Swerve said he has wanted this moment all of his life and has dreamt of this moment because he believed it was not actually possible, and that his destination has been filled with a long, winding road of obstacles, roadblocks, and this moment is bigger than the both of them.
A brawl broke out between them, with Joe busting Swerve open. Swerve signed the contract with his own blood, laughed at Joe, and said if this is all Joe can do then he will be taking the AEW World Title from him at Dynasty.
Joe went back in to the ring and slammed Swerve through the table.
