AEW Dynamite Results – MVP Debuts, Title Retired

Below are the results from tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, featuring the All Elite Wrestling debut of MVP.

– AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson def. Nigel McGuiness

Christian Cage came out and was about to cash-in his guaranteed AEW World Title match, but was stopped by Kip Sabian.

– Hook (c) def. Roderick Strong to retain the FTW Championship

After the match, Hook declared that all good things must come to an end and retired the FTW Title, and gave it to his father, Taz.

– The Young Bucks (c) def. AEW International Champion Will Ospreay & Kyle Fletcher to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship

– Prince Nana gave an update on Swerve Strickland and said Swerve is not physically cleared to come back yet, but he is fighting to get back in the ring for the fans.

MVP made his AEW debut and interrupted Prince Nana, and told Nana that he has been watching Swerve for a long time and wants to help Swerve reach the mountain top again. MVP gave Nana his business card when he is serious to talk business.

– Mariah May (c) def. Yuka Sakazaki to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship

May reunited with Mina Shirakawa after the match.

– The Conglomeration made Rocky Romero an official member.

– Jon Moxley def. Darby Allin and will face Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Title at the WrestleDream PPV

Bryan attacked Moxley after the match and said he’s going to kick Moxley’s f**king head in.
