– AEW Dynamite kicked off with The Elite arriving. They wait for someone else to get out of a car and it’s “Scapegoat” Jack Perry.
– Trent Beretta took out Orange Cassidy and called Chuck Taylor to come out. Trent said he and Chuck spent 9 years as Cassidy’s mascots and they gave him everything they had, while they got nothing in return and regrets not attacking Cassidy sooner. Trent said that Chuck must choose whose side he will be on. Chuck pretends to be on Trent’s side before hitting him with a mic. Chuck said he is with Cassidy, and challenged Trent to a Parking Lot Brawl.
– AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland def. ROH TV Champion Kyle Fletcher
It is then announced that Kenny Omega will make his return to All Elite Wrestling next week on Dynamite.
– Thunder Rosa & Deonna Purrazzo got into an argument backstage.
– Mina Shirakawa def. Anna Jay
– “The Professor” Serena Deeb set her sights on “Timeless” Toni Storm and the AEW Women’s World Championship.
– Willow Nightingale had a celebration for her TBS Women’s Championship victory. Mercedes Mone interrupted and questioned if Willow is the one who attacked her backstage. Willow questioned if Mercedes has a personal vendetta against her after her injury last year, and said she wants Mercedes at 100% for their match. Mercedes told Willow to enjoy her time as TBS Champion because Willow knows in her heart that she can’t beat her at Double or Nothing.
– Will Ospreay won a Casino Gauntlet Match to earn the right to face Roderick Strong for the AEW International Championship at Double or Nothing. The other participants in the match were Jay White, Dante Martin, Penta El Zero Miedo, Kyle O’Reilly, Lance Archer, Komander & Jay Lethal.
– FTW Champion Chris Jericho said he tried to teach Hook to get rid of the weight that was holding him down in Taz & Katsuyori Shibata, but he didn’t want to listen and had to pay for it. Big Bill (fka Big Cass) interrupted. Big Bill said that Jericho is the Socrates of Professional Wrestling, and wants to join him under his Learning Tree. Jericho said he will keep Bill in consideration and will be keeping his eye on him.
– Don Callis said he wants Will Ospreay to use the Tiger Driver no matter how many necks he breaks.
– Jon Moxley (c) def. Powerhouse Hobbs to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship
After the match, Konosuke Takeshita declared that he wants a shot at Moxley’s title.
– Jack Perry called Tony Khan to the ring and asked to reinstate him to All Elite Wrestling. Tony agreed, but Perry turned on him and punched him. The Elite came out and told Jack to back off and helped Tony up to his feet. However, they also turned on Tony and took him out with The TK Driver.
