• AEW Dynamite (Road Rager 2022) Results – Christian Cage Turns Heel, New Champions Crowned
Below are the complete results from tonight’s AEW Dynamite: Road Rager special:
– Chris Jericho def. Ortiz in a Hair vs. Hair match after Fuego Del Sol came out and hit Ortiz with a Bat
Fuego took off his mask and it’s revealed to be Sammy Guevara, who has joined The Jericho Appreciation Society.
– Wardlow def. 20 Security Guards
Dan Lambert sent former UFC Champions Tyron Woodley & Matt Hughes to the ring to face Wardlow. Wardlow said Woodley & Hughes are smart enough not to take orders from somebody in a skybox, and said that while they could fight, they are cut from the same cloth.
Woodley sent Smart Mark Sterling into Wardlow, and he took him out with a Powerbomb.
– IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay def. ROH & AAA Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood
The United Empire beat down FTR & Roppongi Vice after the match. Orange Cassidy returned and confronted Ospreay.
– Jon Moxley & Hiroshi Tanahashi came face to face ahead of Forbidden Door. Moxley said he’s the best professional wrestler in the world and when the dust settles Tanahashi will have to call him Ace.
The Jericho Appreciation Society came out. Chris Jericho said he already defeated Tanahashi in the Tokyo Dome, and claimed that Moxley is only in the match because he wasn’t given a chance to compete for the Title.
Jericho sent The JAS, Lance Archer & El Desperado after Moxley & Tanahashi. Jericho announced it will be himself, Minoru Suzuki & Sammy Guevara vs. Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta and Shota Umino at Forbidden Door.
– Miro def. Ethan Page to advance to the Fatal 4 Way Match for the All-Atlantic Championship at Forbidden Door
– Toni Storm def. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
– “Hangman” Adam Page said last week he challenged Kazuchika Okada, but this past week he lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Title to Jay White, but he still wants to challenge Okada.
Adam Cole interrupted. Cole said that Jay White is correct in calling Page a dumb cowboy and pointed out that Okada won’t even be at Forbidden Door. Jay White came out and took out Page with a Blade Runner.
White said Page does not call the shots and that if he will put the IWGP World Heavyweight Title on the line against anyone, it will not be against Page or Cole as he holds the prize and the power.
– Young Bucks def. Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus (c) in a Ladder Match to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (June 15, 2016) – Old School Territory Legend Passed Away
On this day in 2016, we lost Old School Territory Legend Gypsy Joe (Real name: Gilberto Meléndez) at the age of 82 due to complications following an extended illness.
If you have never heard of this man before, then we strongly suggest, you look him up online, because Gypsy Joe holds the world record for the longest Professional Wrestling career ever in the history of the business, after performing in the ring for 60 (!!!) years from 1951 until Joe retired in 2011.
During his long career he wrestled for several old school territories and independent promotions, but never made it to the big leagues, such as the World Wrestling Federation or World Championship Wrestling.
† REST IN PEACE GIPSY JOE
December 2, 1933 – June 15, 2016
