Hangman Adam Page defeats Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear 2021 WrestleFeed App

The AEW Full Gear 2021 main show kicked off with MJF vs. Darby Allin.

Shawn Spears and Wardlow tried to help MJF in this match, but “The Icon” Sting took them out with his baseball bat and a steel chair.

During the ending moments of this match, MJF brought in Darby’s skateboard and gave it to Darby to hit him with it. However, Darby gave it to the referee.

When the referee was placing the skateboard out of the ring, MJF punched Darby while wearing his Dynamite Diamond Ring while the referee was distracted and then pinned him to win the match.

Up next was the AEW World Tag Team Championship match and the champions managed to retain their Titles.

Lucha Brothers (c) def. AAA Tag Team Champions FTR (with Tully Blanchard) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship

It’s time for the Finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. Former TNT Champion Miro (fka Rusev in WWE) makes his way out first, followed by Bryan Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan in WWE).

After hard-hitting back & forth action, Bryan made Miro tap out to win the match.

Danielson is next in line for an AEW World Championship match. Bryan targeted Miro’s weak point to pick up the win – his neck.

Up next is the Falls Count Anywhere match between Superkliq (Adam Cole & The Young Bucks) and Christian Cage & Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus).

Adam Cole was busted open during this match, not the hard way though – he performed a blade job.

Christian took multiple nasty bumps during this match. He jumped off the balcony on top of multiple wrestlers. He also landed back-first on a ladder.

During the ending moments of the match, Luchasaurus chokeslammed Cole off the entrance stage and then hit a Shooting Star Press on the Superkliq off the stage and this shocked Jungle Boy!

Christian was about hit smash Nick Jackson’s head with a Steel Chair shot while he was down on the entrance ramp, but he handed the chair to Jungle Boy and he went on to finish things off and win the match for his team.

Up next is a Tag Team Match.

Cody Rhodes & Pac def. Andrade El Idolo & Malakai Black

Cash Wheeler attacked Cody & Pac after the match. Cody was booed by the fans again.

Up next is the AEW Women’s World Championship match. Tay Conti makes her way out first, followed by the champion, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

This was the biggest match of Tay’s career and she did everything she could to defeat the champion, but fell short.

After giving Britt a very hard time, Tay got rolled up and got pinned.

Up next is a match which is 15 years in the making. Eddie Kingston makes his way out first, followed by CM Punk.

CM Punk debuted a new ring gear tonight. You can check out his entrance and gear below:

Eddie laid out Punk before the match could begin and the fans cheered for him.

During the match, Punk got busted open. Punk did John Cena’s shoulder tackle and back body drop routune and raised his hand up just like Cena, but then gave the middle finger to Eddie instead of the You Can’t See Me taunt.

Punk hit Kingston with 2 GTS to pick up the win.

Eddie refused to shake Punk’s hand after the match.

Up next is the Minneapolis Street Fight. Inner Circle defeated Men Of The Year & American Top Team.

During the match, Old School Legend Baron Von Raschke (who was a guest at ringside) got physical and locked in the Iron Claw on Ethan Page.

The end came when Chris Jericho paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero (who passed away 16 years ago today) by hitting a Frog Splash on Dan Lambert and pinning him.

The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, TNT Champion Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz) def. Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page) and American Top Team (Andrei Arlovski, Dan Lambert and Junior dos Santos)

Jericho then dedicated his victory to Eddie.

After the match, Tony Schiavone introduced the newest member of the AEW roster – former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal.

Lethal challenged Sammy Guevara to a TNT Championship match this coming Wednesday on Dynamite and Sammy accepted.

Up next is the main event of the evening, and it is for the AEW World Championship.

“Hangman” Adam Page makes his way out first, followed by the champion, Kenny Omega.

After back and forth action, Omega went for the One Winged Angel, but Hangman countered and hit Omega with the One Winged Angel! Adam goes for the cover, but Omega kicks out.

The Young Bucks gave a nod to Page and Page then hit the Buckshot Lariat and pinned Omega.
