AEW Gives A Medical Update On Tony Khan

All Elite Wrestling aired 3 hours of LIVE programming tonight, starting with AEW Collision and then a special Saturday edition of Rampage.

2 Wrestlers made their return to AEW programming tonight: Rey Fenix and Rush.

2 Wrestlers made their AEW debut tonight: former WWE NXT and current TNA tag team Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson).

Before the show began, AEW President Tony Khan came out wearing a neckbrace and thanked for the fans in Jacksonville. He said he loves the fans and loves pro wrestling. Tony said they’re going to have a great show, great day for the Jaguars and they’ve had a great week for AEW.

AEW Collision Results

– Swerve Strickland cut his first promo on TV as the AEW World Champion. He said The Elite attacking a non-fighter like Tony Khan was a b*tch move. Strickland then announced that he will have his first AEW World Championship defense tonight and laid out the challenge to anyone in the back. Claudio Castagnoli accepted and it’s made official for the main event.

– Tony Schiavone gave a medical update on Tony Khan. Schiavone said Khan suffered multiple head and neck injuries, and will not be traveling with AEW until he is medically cleared and will run the show remotely from Jacksonville.

– Bullet Club Gold (c) def. Top Flight & Action Andretti to retain the Unified AEW World Trios Championship

– House of Black said their match against Adam Copeland, Mark Briscoe & Eddie Kingston at AEW Dynasty went exactly as planned and now they have set their sights on the TNT Championship. Malakai Black said one of them will face Copeland on next week’s Dynamite for the Title.

– Orange Cassidy said he is afraid of what Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor will do to each other in their Parking Lot Fight later tonight.
