Darby earned this title shot after winning the Royal Rampage match last month. Allin lost to Jack Perry in a Coffin Match for the TNT Championship at All In 2024.
There has been significant discussion within All Elite Wrestling about Darby potentially becoming the AEW World Champion. According to the Wrestling Observer, a World Title reign for Darby has been “seriously considered,” though the timing for this potential run is still uncertain.

• Nikki Bella’s husband, Artem Chigvintsev, has been arrested for domestic violence. According to TMZ, Chigvintsev was arrested in Napa, California, and booked into Napa County Jail on Thursday morning on a felony domestic battery charge.
Details of the incident leading to his arrest are still unclear. Notably, Nikki Bella shared on her Instagram Story that she was in Napa on Wednesday, but it is unknown if she was involved in the incident.
The couple, who met on “Dancing With The Stars” in 2019 and married in 2022, recently celebrated their wedding anniversary and have a 4-year-old son named Matteo. They own a home together in Napa Valley.
