• AEW Rampage: Grand Slam Spoilers – Wrestling Legend Makes Surprise Appearance, Former Champion Earns World Title Match
After tonight’s Dynamite: Grand Slam went off the air, All Elite Wrestling taped this Friday’s special 2-hour episode of AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.
Below are the spoilers:
– Sting & Darby Allin def. Buddy Matthews & Brody King in a No DQ match
During the match, Sting was handcuffed and Buddy was about to hit him with the baseball bat, but The Great Muta made a surprise appearance to make the save for Sting.
Sting then went on to pin Matthews to pick up the win. After the match, Sting & Great Muta celebrated, which received the biggest pop of the entire night (including Dynamite).
– FTW Champion Hook (Taz’s son) & Action Bronson def. Angelo Parker & Matt Menard
– Jade Cargill (c) def. Diamante to retain the TBS Women’s Championship
– TNT Champion Wardlow & ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe def. Tony Nese & Josh Woods
– Jungle Boy def. AEW World Trios Champion Rey Fenix
Christian Cage came out after the match and distracted Jungle Boy, which led to Luchasaurus attacking his former tag team partner again.
– Sammy Guevara def. Eddie Kingston
Eddie originally won the match by choking out Sammy, but he didn’t stop choking him out, which led to the referee reversing the decision. Eddie was so angry because Sammy called him a fat piece of sh*t again.
