• After tonight’s Dynamite went off the air, All Elite Wrestling taped this Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage.
Below are the spoilers:
– Chris Jericho mended fences with Sammy Guevara.
– Wheeler Yuta (c) def. Matt Sydal in a Pure Rules Match to retain the ROH Pure Championship
Yuta attacked Danhausen, which led to FTW Champion Hook making the save.
– Ruby Soho (with Saraya & Harley Cameron) def. Marina Shafir (with Nyla Rose) after a distraction from Harley
This was the beginning of Harley’s new role in AEW, as she’s in Saraya’s faction now.
– AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero def. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) & Action Andretti
• CM Punk returned to the ring at the December 26th WWE Live Event at Madison Square Garden for a singles match.
This was his first WWE match in almost 10 years, as his last match before this was the 2014 Royal Rumble.
He faced former 2-time NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day and won after hitting a GTS.
MSG officials gave Punk a gift and it was a plaque commemorating his first WWE match in a decade. You can check it out below:
