On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, 2x WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was actually recognized as a former 21-time World Champion by All Elite Wrestling.

WWE on the other hand only lists him as a former 16-time World Champion in their record books, and always promoted him as such, since he returned to the World Wrestling Federation in November 2001.

You can watch it below:

‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair is without a doubt one of the greatest professional wrestlers in history, beloved by both fans and non-fans alike.

Known for his flamboyant persona, Flair’s influence on the wrestling industry has been significant since his debut in the 70s. Alongside wrestling icons like Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker, Flair has left a lasting impact on pop culture.

Despite experiencing highs and lows, Ric’s championship resume is impressive, with at least twenty-one world championship wins throughout his career.

Although WWE recognizes only sixteen of these victories, Flair’s accomplishments should not be overlooked.

His legacy as a world-class wrestler remains untarnished, regardless of the specific number of world titles actually acknowledged by WWE.

On July 31st 2022, Ric Flair wrestled his last match, where he teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo and defeated the team of Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal.

Flair passed out twice during this match due to dehydration.
