Tonight’s AEW Revolution 2024 PPV took place at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This was All Elite Wrestling’s first pay-per-view to be held in North Carolina.

– Bang Bang Scissor Gang [AEW World Trios Champions Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed and ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champions Jay White & The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn)] def. Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Willie Mack & Private Party

Jay White said he might handle some Big Business of his own on March 13th.

– PAC (fka Neville in WWE) said: β€œYou’ll never get rid of me Tony Khan. I’m like a cockroach. An indestructible little bastard.”

– Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale def. TBS Women’s Champion Julia Hart & Skye Blue

Main PPV Show Results

– Christian Cage (c) def. Daniel Garcia to retain the TNT Championship

“Daddy Magic” Mike Menard stopped Killswitch aka Luchasaurus from interfering. However, Nick Wayne managed to interfered, thus resulting in Christian picking up the win.

– Eddie Kingston (c) def. Bryan Danielson to retain the Continental Crown Championship

According to the stipulation of the match, Bryan shook Eddie’s hand after the match and raised his hand.

– Wardlow def. Chris Jericho, Powerhouse Hobbs, Lance Archer, FTW Champion Hook, Brian Cage, Magnus & Dante Martin in an 8-man All-Star Scramble Match to become the new #1 Contender for the AEW World Championship

– Roderick Strong def. Orange Cassidy (c) to win the AEW International Championship

Kyle O’Reilly returned after the match and said something in Strong’s ear.

– Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) def. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)

Moxley & Claudio came out in The Road Warriors gear during their entrance. You can watch it below:

– Toni Storm (c) def. Deonna Purrazzo to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship

Mariah May came out dressed as the old school version of Toni Storm for this match.

– Will Ospreay def. Konosuke Takeshita

Both men showed respect to each other after the match. ROH TV Champion Kyle Fletcher came out and hugged Ospreay. Ospreay vs. Fletcher will take place this Wednesday on Dynamite.

– Samoe Joe (c) def. “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland in a Triple Threat Match to retain the AEW World Championship

Hangman attacked the referee during the match to prevent Strickland from winning. Page tapped out to Joe’s Coquina Clutch.

– For Sting’s final match, Ric Flair came out first, followed by the special guest timekeeper: Ricky Steamboat.

During Sting’s entrance, his two sons came out dressed as old school versions of his father and even participated in the match.

Darby Allin Bleeding Blood Busted Open AEW Revolution 2024 Glass Swanton Bomb Ladder Spot

Young Bucks hit Flair and Steamboat with superkicks during the match. They even sent Sting through a table and glass.

Bucks hit Sting with two EVP triggers. Sting kicked out at 2 after the first one, and kicked out at 1 during the second one! Bucks were looking for the TK Driver, but Darby intervened and sent Nicholas through the table, and Sting hit Matthew with a Scorpion Deathdrop!

Sting locked in the Scorpion Deathlock on Matthew and he tapped out!

Sting & Darby Allin (c) def. Young Bucks in a Tornado Match to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship

The Icon will retire as a champion!

After the match, Sting thanked the fans and said he’ll never forget tonight. Sting said Darby is the greatest tag team partner he has ever had. Sting said Darby is a risk taker and he was a risk taker too back when he was young, and he still is despite being old. Darby said he told Sting he’d die in his final match, but he’s still alive despite a bloody back.
