Below are some top WWE news stories of the day.
• AEW wrestler Daniel Garcia’s future in wrestling is uncertain as he has yet to sign a new contract with All Elite Wrestling, sparking speculation about a potential move to WWE. Despite his involvement in major storylines at All In and a match against MJF at All Out, Garcia’s contract situation remains unresolved.
According to Fightful Select , Garcia was originally considered to win his match against MJF at the All Out 2024 PPV, but the decision was changed since he hadn’t signed a new deal.
“Garcia was considered for the win, and that those in AEW say he’s not signed a new deal. Garcia has been offered a new deal, and AEW were hopeful he’d sign it before All Out, which didn’t happen.”
Garcia’s current contract with AEW is set to expire in October, and there’s speculation that WWE may be interested in signing him. While at least one top AEW talent believed Garcia would stay with the company, his future remains uncertain as of mid-September.
“One top talent had been under the impression this summer that Garcia was staying, but that is far from a guarantee. AEW believes that WWE has interest in Garcia, but we’ve not heard if any contact has been made as of yet.”
