• AEW Star Kenny Omega Becomes Champion At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17

At today’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 pay-per-view, current AEW wrestler Kenny Omega defeated Will Ospreay to win the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

This is the 2nd time in his career that Omega has won this Title.

IWGP Women’s Championship Match: Kairi Sane (c) def. Tam Nakano to retain the Title

IWGP Tag Team Championship Match: Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi) def. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) to win the Titles

Tournament Final to crown the inaugural NJPW World Television Champion: Zack Sabre Jr. def. Ren Narita to win the Title

After the match, TMDK came out and requested Sabre to join them as their leader, and he accepted.

NEVER Openweight Championship Match: Tama Tonga (with Jado) def. Karl Anderson (c) to win the Title

– Keiji Muto, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Shota Umino defeated Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Sanada and Bushi)

This was Muto’s final NJPW match.
