– In the co-main event of last night’s UFC 290 pay-per-view, Alexandre Pantoja defeated Brandon Moreno via Split Decision in a 5-round fight to win the UFC Flyweight (125 lbs) Championship.
In the post-fight interview, Pantoja said his Mother raised him and brothers. He then looked at the camera and said:
“Are you proud of me, dad? Are you proud of me now?”
AEW wrestler Tay Melo saw this and related to it because she was abandoned by her father too.
