• By competing in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, Randy Orton has made history.
He now holds the record for competing in the most Elimination Chamber matches: 9.
Orton was previously tied with Chris Jericho for this record. Michael Cole mentioned this on commentary as well, despite the fact that Jericho works in AEW now.
This was something that Vince McMahon didn’t allow in majority of the cases when he was in charge.
• During the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, the chamber door was opened to let some referees enter the structure to check on Bobby Lashley.
AJ Styles took advantage of this situation and entered the chamber to interfere in the match.
LA Knight had Drew McIntyre beat and was about to pin him, but Styles attacked Knight with a Steel Chair.
Styles laid out Knight with a Styles Clash on top of a steel chair, which led to Drew pinning LA.
Backstage after the match, AJ said the following:
“You understand? You messed with the wrong man. You see, I’m not about just winning anymore, I’m gonna hurt not just LA Knight but anyone who gets in my way. Because I’m AJ Styles.”
