• AEW Stars Believe Sasha Banks Will Debut In All Elite Wrestling Next Week
As we all know by now, former WWE wrestler Sasha Banks debuted in NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 17 as Mercedes Mone.
She will face Kairi Sane for the IWGP Women’s Championship on February 18th.
On next week’s January 11th episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya (fka Paige in WWE) will team up with a mystery partner to face the team of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter.
According to Fightful Select, AEW wrestlers are of the belief that Mercedes will be coming in to be Saraya’s tag team partner next Wednesday.
While it wasn’t confirmed by the AEW higher-ups that Mercedes is coming to All Elite Wrestling when asked by the wrestlers, the rumor of the former WWE Women’s Champion debuting on Dynamite wasn’t shot down either.
However, no ones believes that Sasha is going to sign a contract with AEW, and that if she does appear next week, it will most likely be a one-off appearance.
In the post Wrestle Kingdom press conference, Mercedes said she’s on a “world domination tour”.
