• AEW Star’s Contract Is Set To Expire Soon, Feelers Within WWE
Brian Cage’s AEW contract is about to expire soon and he could become a Free Agent, unless he decides to sign a contract extension.
He’s currently the ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champion, along with Kaun and Toa Liona.
Cage faced Bryan Danielson on this week’s Dynamite and lost.
His contract was set to expire last year, but AEW decided to pick up his option year. Cage was surprised by this move because he hadn’t been on TV in months.
According to Fightful Select, there had been feelers within WWE to gauge interest in bringing Cage to the company, but it’s unclear at this point if either side is interested.
