• AEW Tag Team Lose Their Titles At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17
At today’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 pay-per-view, AEW tag team FTR (fka The Revival in WWE) lost their IWGP Tag Team Championship.
In less than a month, they have lost all (3 sets) of their Tag Team Titles (ROH, IWGP & AAA).

– New Japan Ranbo to determine who will challenge for the Provisional KOPW 2023 Championship at New Year Dash: Great-O-Khan, Shingo Takagi, Sho and Toru Yano advance to the 4-way match
– Antonio Inoki Memorial 6-Man Tag Team Match: Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima and Togi Makabe def. Tatsumi Fujinami, Minoru Suzuki and Tiger Mask

– IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match: Catch 2/2 (TJP and Francesco Akira) (c) (with Gideon Grey) def. LiYoh (Lio Rush and Yoh) to retain the Titles
– IWGP Women’s Championship Match: Kairi Sane (c) def. Tam Nakano to retain the Title

– IWGP Tag Team Championship Match: Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi) def. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) to win the Titles
– Tournament Final to crown the inaugural NJPW World Television Champion: Zack Sabre Jr. def. Ren Narita to win the Title
After the match, TMDK came out and requested Sabre to join them as their leader, and he accepted.

• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 53rd birthday of Old School WCW Veteran “Mortis” Chris Kanyon (Real name: Christopher Klucsarits).
Originally starting out as a WWF jobber in 1994, he soon became known as the evil Mortis in WCW, while being managed by James Vandenberg (Sinister Minister / Father James Mitchell) and feuded with Glacier & “The Cat” Ernest Miller.
Kanyon died by suicide on April 2, 2010.
