Old School Luchador Super Caló (Real name: Rafael García) celebrates his 49th birthday today.
After his debut in 1990, he joined the famous AAA (Asistencia Asesoría y Administración) promotion in his home country of Mexico, where he became a regular star during the 90s.
North American wrestling fans will mainly remember Super Caló for his time in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1996 until 1999.
Nowadays he’s semi-retired, which means he’s still wrestling every now and then for special occasions.

• AEW Wrestler Jon Moxley Reveals Which WWF Legend Got Him Interested In Wrestling
During a recent appearance on AEW Unrestricted, Jon Moxley revealed that two time WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was the man that got him interested in Pro-Wrestling:
“Early, mid-90s, Bret was the guy. I kind of missed HulkaMania. I was born in 1985, so by the time I was watching and understanding what’s going on he’s (Hulk Hogan) already kind of out. Bret was the guy at that point. So, he be on like WWF Superstars or the Saturday Morning shows. There was a lot less wrestling content back then. There might have been a one-hour show week or there was WCW too. But, I never saw much of WCW till a little later, the Nitro days, I was never exposed to it.”WATCH: Lana’s Hot Bikini Display:
