• AEW Wrestler Kenny Omega Takes A Shot At Vince McMahon
A twitter user shared a 4 year old story of NJPW wrestler Kota Ibushi attending NXT TakeOver: Dallas in 2016 and going backstage, meeting Vince McMahon & not knowing who he was.
You can read it below:
“The former NJPW star apparently went backstage sometime during the show. When Ibushi first went back there, he gave a ‘high-five’ to a ‘big man’. Out of all the people in the building, that ‘big man’ turned out to be Vince McMahon, owner of WWE. Ibushi had no idea who he was, which made the staff ‘really upset’.”
AEW wrestler Kenny Omega, who is Ibushi’s former tag team partner, took a shot at Vince McMahon while commenting on this topic:
“Hard to believe, but yeah, some of the most talented wrestlers in the world aren’t constantly walking on eggshells and scared sh*tless of their boss.”
