One of the biggest pro wrestling shows in history, AEW All In, is about 10 days away. AEW usually has a huge number of matches for their pay-per-view events, but the company hasn’t announced matches for a lot of wrestlers yet.
In addition, after CM Punk took shots at “Hangman” Adam Page after AEW Collision last Saturday, his issues with people backstage have been a hot topic in the news instead of AEW’s biggest show at the Wembley Stadium in UK.
According to Sescoops, many wrestlers in AEW are upset about the build-up to All In. A wrestler stated that if it was just about All In, it wouldn’t be that big of an issue, but the drama related to CM Punk and The Elite has caused a lot of frustration backstage.
People are confused about their direction heading into All In, and are scared they wouldn’t be able to live up to the moment as they see the show as AEW’s WrestleMania 1 or WrestleMania 3.
Another wrestler said that they’re not sure why people are disgruntled because AEW President Tony Khan said the build-up to All In would take time. They also stated that Bryan Danielson would’ve likely been in the main event had he not been injured at Forbidden Door 2.
One wrestler revealed that the CM Punk situation is “driving everyone nuts.” They said that AEW was growing before Punk joined it, and Tony Khan giving him control over Collision despite everything that has happened since last year is the end of things.
