On this day in Pro Wrestling history on August 21, 1997, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Clash Of The Champions 35’ LIVE on TBS from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

• AEW’s Jim Ross Not Surprised By WWE Starting AEW vs. NXT War

WWE announced yesterday that NXT is moving to the USA Network and will become a two hour show, beginning September 18.

The show will air from 8 to 10 PM EST, which means it’ll be going head-to-head with AEW’s TV show on TNT – thus starting a “Wednesday Night War” in Pro-Wrestling.
