• AEW’s Matt Hardy & Taz Take Shots At WWE’s Current Situation Regarding COVID-19

WWE is the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, but they failed to handle the situation related to COVID-19 within their company.

They didn’t do any testing of their employees from the start, and only relied on temperature checks. The company is dealing with the consequences now, as 30+ employees are reportedly infected with the virus.

On the other hand, WWE’s rival company, AEW, has handled the situation very professionally. They’ve been getting all of their employees tested before every show.

AEW commentator Taz recently took a shot at WWE’s handling of the situation, while praising AEW.

“When I travel my mask stays on always, when I go into a store/business my mask is on. I always have hand sanitizer in my pocket & social distancing is vital. I’m blessed to work for a company who has been Blood Testing all of us in #AEW from the START of this Pandemic. #StaySafe”

AEW Superstar Matt Hardy did the same while quoting Taz’s tweet.

“Same. THIS is the unselfish mentality it’s going to take to control the spread of this virus. I am also very thankful for @AEWrestling’s thoroughness throughout this pandemic.”
