The first episode of AEW Collision after the WrestleDream pay-per-view will air tonight from the Maverick Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The show will go head-to-head with the WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event, which will feature several title matches, John Cena’s first televised match since WrestleMania 39, a possible surprise return and the possible debut of Jade Cargill.
Last month, Collision went head-to-head with the Payback Premium Live Event, which caused a huge decrease in the show’s ratings.
Due to this reason, Collision will have a special start time of 7 PM ET, which will be one hour earlier than its usual start time of 8 PM ET.
The Wrestling Observer noted that this change is not a call from Turner Sports, and there is no sporting conflict either, which is usually the reason for such a move.
Collision’s first hour will go head-to-head with Fastlane’s Kickoff show (where there will be no matches), and its second hour will compete against the first hour of the main PLE show.
