In a massive win for TNA Wrestling, the company has officially confirmed that AJ Styles will return for the live premiere of Thursday Night Impact on AMC. As TNA launches its new era on January 15, 2026, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, the “Phenomenal One” is set to make his first appearance for the promotion since his emotional cameo at Slammiversary 2025.
While it remains to be seen if the WWE Superstar will actually compete in a match or simply address the crowd, his presence is a major statement for TNA’s move to a new network. Styles, a founding father of the X-Division and a multi-time World Champion, remains one of the most beloved figures in TNA history, and his return coincides with the final year of his active wrestling career.
