Below are the highlights from tonight’s AAA TripleMania 32 CDMX event.
– The 2024 Copa Bardhal took place, offering the winner a title shot of their choice. The match saw several returns, including former CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Marco Corleone (fka Mark Jindrak in WWE), who returned to AAA after 14 years but was eliminated by Mr. Iguana, Zumbido, and Octagon Jr.
Mascarita Dorada IV and former WWE Tag Team Champion Kenzo Suzuki also made brief returns. The match concluded with Octagon Jr. securing the victory by pinning Zumbido after hitting the Oz Cutter.
– Raj Dhesi (fka Jinder Mahal in WWE) & AEW wrestler Satnam Singh defeated Negro Casas & Psycho Clown and Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno del Mal in a triple threat match to win the AAA World Tag Team Championship. Jeff Jarrett helped them win after a Guitar shot. You can watch it below:

– Matt Riddle defeated Komander (c) and Laredo Kid to win the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
– Rey Mysterio congratulated Psicosis on getting inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame:

– Alberto El Patron (fka Alberto Del Rio) defeated Nic Nemeth (c) (fka Dolph Ziggler, he is also the TNA World Heavyweight Champion) to win the AAA Mega Championship. WWE Hall of Famer JBL accompanied Nemeth for this match.

After a brutal match, Alberto won by delivering a Low Blow to Nemeth and locking in a Single-Leg Hook. Post-match, Latin Lover congratulated Alberto, but Alberto attacked him, revealing himself as “The Eye” who had been terrorizing AAA.
Konnan, who appeared to confront Alberto, instead aligned with him by attacking Latin Lover with a barb-wired bat. The drama escalated when a masked man, revealed to be AAA President Dorian Roldan, joined Alberto and Konnan, leaving Latin Lover bloodied in the ring.
