• Aleister Black’s Recent Request Denied By WWE

As we noted earlier, WWE announced that they released wrestler and manager Zelina Vega from the company.

PWInsider reported that Vega was informed of her release on Friday afternoon, and it came because she didn’t want to leave her Twitch career.

WrestleVotes provided an update on the situation and revealed that Vega’s husband, Aleister Black, who’s currently on SmackDown, requested to move back to NXT. However, his request was denied.

“There’s a bit more behind the scenes to the Zelina Vega release. Frustration from both sides is an understatement. While it can’t be directly tied to today’s news, Aleister Black recently requested to move back to NXT and was denied. Dissension amongst the parties involved.”

It should be noted that Vince McMahon recently changed Black’s character and he’s no longer booked to be unstoppable.
