• Zelina Vega Reveals How She Found Out About Her WWE Release

Zelina Vega, along with her husband Aleister Black, got released from WWE yesterday. On her Twitch stream, Zelina revealed how she found out about her WWE departure:

“When people call me, it would usually say Stamford calling you, and that’s when your heart’s like, ‘Oh f**k.’ But this time it said TKO, so I was like, ‘Ah, very telling.’ 5:09 PM is when I found out.”

As we previously noted, Zelina wasn’t happy that she didn’t get to announce her departure on social media:

“I was so shocked. I also would’ve appreciated if Sean Ross Sapp, or whoever the f**k announced it, could’ve at least given me the decency to let me do it myself first. F**k you, dude.”

You can watch it below:

Sapp had the following to say about this:

“I did my job, verified the news and reported an accurate story. I understand why she feels the way she does. We’ve never reported a release before the talent is notified.”
