• Alexa Bliss Fires Back At Reports About Her WrestleMania 39 Status

At Royal Rumble 2023, Bianca Belair defeated Alexa Bliss to retain the RAW Women’s Championship.

After the match, Uncle Howdy appeared on the screen and asked Alexa if she feels ‘in charge’.

Alexa went on a break from WWE after this match. WWE Officials knew about her time off heading into the Royal Rumble. She hasn’t been backstage at WWE events since her loss to Belair.

Earlier today, the Wrestling Observer reported that Alexa is going to remain on a hiatus for a while, and will miss WrestleMania 39.

Alexa read the report and tweeted:

“Tired of seeing these tweets. I am not on a hiatus. They know where to find me.”

It’s possible that WWE brings her back when they do the Draft, which is rumored to take place in May after the Backlash premium live event.

Today would have been the 65th birthday of Old School Wrestling Veteran Randy Barber.

In 1989, Randy returned to the NWA’s #1 promotion, which was now owned by Ted Turner and renamed World Championship Wrestling (WCW), as “The Raider” but was still used solely as enhancement talent.
