• “All good things to those who wait” – Absent WWE Wrestler
Santos Escobar’s WWE contract expired in October, sparking rumors that he might leave the company. However, the former Cruiserweight Champion reached a new deal with the promotion after receiving an improved offer.
He was rumored to return to WWE TV on RAW last month, but that didn’t happen.
Escobar shared a brief update on social media, posting on Instagram: “All good things to those who wait.” On X, he wrote: “Waiting, patiently.”
His last televised match on WWE programming was a loss to Rey Fenix on SmackDown in May.
• Lucha Brothers Set To Face 2 RAW Stars After Reuniting For The First Time Since Leaving AEW
The Lucha Brothers were one of the top Tag Teams in AEW for years. Penta left the company in 2024, while Rey Fénix parted ways earlier this year.
Both men eventually made their way to WWE, but debuted at different times and on different brands. Penta joined the RAW roster, while Fénix arrived later on SmackDown, keeping the brothers apart during their first months in the company.
Last night, the duo finally reunited on AAA Alianzas. After AAA Mega Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano defeated El Hijo del Vikingo and Dragon Lee in a Tag Team match, The Lucha Brothers appeared on the titantron and issued a major challenge.
They called out Dirty Dom and Americano for a match at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20, which was accepted.

• WWE Sources’ Reaction To Nick Hogan Possibly Wrestling In The Company
Nick Hogan, the 35-year-old son of Hulk Hogan, appears to be quietly stepping into training mode for a potential wrestling career.
In a recent interview with TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport, Nick addressed speculation about his future in the ring. He revealed that he’s been working out with NWA wrestler Bryan Idol.
Nick emphasized his lifelong love for the business and stated that wrestling “makes me feel closer to Dad,” suggesting that his training is more than just physical preparation – it’s also personal. He stopped short of confirming any formal contract or upcoming debut, instead offering comments like “You never know, man… it’s in the blood.”
Despite the fan buzz and Nick’s training activity, industry insiders indicate there’s currently no talk of him joining WWE. According to Fightful Select, WWE sources “haven’t heard any discussion whatsoever of Nick Hogan wrestling in the company since the 2010s,” and even back then it was considered more of a “what if?” scenario.
Nick recently wrote the following about how he’s dealing with his father’s death:
“I miss you Dad. Everyday. It hasn’t gotten easier, but I’m doing a lot of things that I feel would make you proud. Business and family are good. I wish you were here to call and hang out with me just one more time. Thank you for coming to see me in that dream this week.
I know he can’t ‘see’ this but I feel like he’s watching over me. 4 Life.”
